The main focus of PENYAYANG is to promote and nurture the development of "Keluarga Bahagia" so as to ensure the development and sustenance of Malaysia as a dynamic and progressive nation

"Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia is a Foundation incorporated for charitable purposes. It aims to provide care, compassion, comfort and consolation to the less fortunate and disadvantaged Malaysians. Concurrently, the Foundation aspires to facilitate individuals or groups of people to develop their potential as productive and responsible citizens through the provision of appropriate assistance.

The Foundation is fondly referred to as "PENYAYANG"."

Among the caring objectives of PENYAYANG are the following:‑

To foster, develop, promote and/or improve the
education of deserving persons.

To provide for and assist individuals with special needs.

To provide assistance in the form of aid, cash or otherwise, to deserving persons adversely affected by floods, natural disasters, calamities, crop failures, famine and drought.

To provide medical treatment and medicines to the needy and suffering.

To grant assistance, aid and relief to the poor and needy and suffering who by reason of age, ill health, misfortune, infirmity, destitution, or being widows and orphans, are wholly unable to maintain themselves and their dependents.

To assist in the treatment and/or rehabilitation of addicts, alcoholics and those in need of moral and social rehabilitation or welfare assistance.

To carry out and to promote schemes or programmes for the alleviation of human suffering and for the treatment of diseases and sickness.

To assist in the provision of materials and/or equipment necessary for pursuing any trade or vocation by persons in need.

To assist in establishing identified manufacturing, handicraft or cultural trade or business associated with the arts, with a view to enabling the people concerned to develop skills so as to be self-reliant and self-dependent.

To assist in the promotion of research, development and the furtherance of scientific, technical, industrial, economic, agricultural or environmental fields, cultural heritage and fine arts, and generally for the advancement and enrichment of mankind.
