In keeping with the Governments' objective to create a caring society by 2020, Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia has implemented concrete strategies to ensure that a caring society exist by 2020

PENYAYANG subscribes to the idea of developing a spirit of volunteerism among Malaysians and to this end PENYAYANG has developed two practical programmes namely (i) Sahabat Penyayang (ii) Kelab Penyayang

Mission
To implement concrete programmes which can facilitate the development of a caring society by 2020.

Objectives

  • To inculcate the spirit of volunteerism among as many Malaysians as possible.
  • To offer opportunities for intending Malaysians to volunteer their services to deserving individuals and organizations.
  • To encourage undergraduates to be volunteers in community work

Sahabat Penyayang
Sahabat Penyayang offers interested and committed Malaysians the opportunity to volunteer their services through PENYAYANG's activities.

Kelab Penyayang
Kelab Penyayang is a Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia initiative set up in Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia. The Kelab Penyayang in each University will adopt a charitable organization closest to its campus for a sustained duration of time. During this period of time the students will apply what they have learnt in their respective courses of study to assist the organisations under their care in a consistent and efficient manner.
