Programmes are designed to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate and relevant skills to enable local residents, both young and old, to pursue jobs or be self-employed.

• To organise workshops/courses for the building of appropriate and    relevant skills.
• To work with relevant public and private agencies and organisations to    implement skill-building programmes.

Workshops
Regular workshops are organised at the centre for different target groups for the local community. Batik workshops, cooking demonstrations, floral arrangement and other skills building programmes have proven to be successful and many in the local community continue to benefit.
